Integrating Innovation In Organizations Workshop - Linkage

Creating an Innovation-Capable Organization

Offered in exclusive partnership with Stephen Shapiro

It’s all too easy for organizations to get comfortable in the beliefs that spur their strategies and actions—but what if things have changed and your leadership’s perceptions no longer match the new reality? The world constantly changes and there’s only one way to stay on top: integrate strategic innovation into your culture.

Innovation isn’t about just coming up with new ideas and implementing them—it’s about being open. Open to new ways of thought. New technologies. New developments. Open to being a bit out of your comfort zone. And to truly innovate, you need to know how to motivate and teach others to innovate, while also measuring results—and not just on an individual basis, you need to be able to affect change on an organizational level.

Teach your leaders the ins and outs of integrating innovation into your culture, starting with yourself, then the teams, and finally the organization in this two-day, active-participant innovation workshop led by select Linkage faculty.

Creating an Innovation-Capable Organization

What You Get

In short, this innovation workshop will arm your leaders with the necessary skills to keep your organization ahead of the competition.

We ask that all participants come to the workshop having prepared two or three real-life challenges that your organization or team is facing; participants will then target their in-session learning toward turning these challenges into innovative opportunities.

During the session, leaders will learn to

  • Adopt a framework to accelerate innovation
  • Develop an organization capable of innovation
  • Ask the questions needed to better define challenges
  • Increase an idea’s potential while simultaneously decreasing risk
  • Motivate others toward innovation and measure their success

In addition to the in-class exercises and learning, attendees will receive a Creating an Innovation-Capable Organization resource guide and a copy of Stephen Shapiro's best-selling book, Best Practices Are Stupid: 40 Ways to Out-Innovate the Competition.
