Lani Phillips brings over 20 years of experience in inclusive leadership and managing transformation in the technology industry and is a recognized leader within Microsoft. She is a sought-after speaker and collaborates with leaders around the world to drive business and cultural transformation at scale.

Background & Experience:

Lani is Vice President of Global Partner Solutions, US Channel Sales for Microsoft Corporation. She is responsible for leading the Channel Sales organization, strategy and execution of Microsoft customers’ digital transformation agenda within their partner ecosystem. She is accountable for revenue, profitability and partner satisfaction across commercial enterprise, corporate and small business customers representing a 10,000+ sales organization and ~$50B in business.

Lani has an extensive record of cultivating high-performance teams that have optimized and transformed businesses. Prior to this role, she served as Chief Transformation Officer for Microsoft’s Enterprise Partner Group, where she led one of the largest global sales transformations in the company’s history. She was CRN Power 100 Women of the Channel in 2021 and Top 10 Most Influential Women in the Cloud. In 2020, she received Linkage’s Women in Leadership Executive Impact Award and the Inclusive Leadership Award from GlobalMindED. Lani also founded the Women Executive Channel Advisory Board (WECAB), which is focused on empowering and elevating women leaders in the technology industry. Complementing her work in the technology industry, Lani’s passion for mentoring has grown into a digital platform, Modern Mentoring, dedicated to bringing together collective voices and sharing key learnings about how to flourish in Corporate America.

Education & Training:

Lani received a Master of Business Administration with distinguished honors from the University of Texas at Dallas, with a concentration in Global Leadership, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. She is currently writing her first leadership book and looks forward to adding “author” to her bio in 2022.
