Mary Kim Elkins

Mary Kim Elkins is Senior Vice President, Taxes, for Eaton, a power management company. In this role, she is responsible for Eaton’s global tax function.

Mary Kim joined Eaton in 2006 as Director, Tax Strategy, for the Fluid Power Group. Since that time, she has gone on to serve as Vice President, Operational Tax Strategy, and most recently as Vice President, International Tax Strategy. Prior to Eaton, Mary Kim held tax roles of increasing responsibility at Deloitte & Touche and Cardinal Health.

Mary Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Troy University and a law degree from Capital University. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the Ohio Bar.

Mary Kim serves on the boards of the Achievement Centers for Children, DANCECleveland, and ICWW (In Counsel With Women). Currently she leads one of eight iERGs (inclusion employee resource groups), WAVE (Women Adding Value at Eaton), and serves as executive sponsor for EWC (Executive Women’s Committee). She also served as founding executive sponsor of another iERG called SOAR (Strengthening Our Asian Resources). Other achievements include being recognized by Crain’s as one of the 2018 Notable Women in Manufacturing and awarded the 2020 YWCA Women of Achievement.
