Kamille Richardson

Founder, iSee Technologies, Inc; Speaker; Author

Kamille Richardson is an awe-inspiring motivational speaker and author, and the founder of iSee Technologies, Inc, which provides accessibility and inclusion services and DEI consulting and training facilitation for companies and organizations who wish to be more inclusive, especially of differently abled or disabled communities. Kamille launched iSee after a decade of extensive success as an Assistive Technology Coach, helping her blind and visually impaired clients regain their independence through her unique style of training. Born totally blind, Kamille’s biggest passion is sharing the inspiring details of her own trials and triumphs along the road to living her best life as a motivating force in encouraging others to do the same.

Kamille started out with a career in radio and worked for several years at one of the top-performing stations within the Beasley Media group in North Carolina. During her tenure, she cohosted the popular nightly show “Swyng at Night,” which received rave reviews. However, after being passed up for advancement multiple times, she took a detour into the massage therapy industry, eventually opening her own massage practice, as well as working with a popular national chain. Though a gifted therapist, the low pay and long hours left her unfulfilled and searching for more.

Always having had a penchant for technology, she took on part-time work as an independent contractor with the Division of Services for the Blind in North Carolina as an Assistive Technology trainer, working with clients who had more recently lost their sight. Word quickly spread of her unconventional, yet wildly successful training methods, leading to her training services being requested all over the state. Realizing this was her calling, she boldly ended her 10-year career in massage therapy, and iSee Technologies was born.

Since then, Kamille has grown and expanded her company into accessibility services and DEI consulting. Today, she’s worked with multinational companies such as BASF and the global PR firm Momentum Worldwide, informing their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, building awareness and alleviating unconscious biases that stifle company culture, productivity and profitability.

As a subject matter expert in DEI and head of her own firm, Kamille is a dynamic and captivating leader and a highly sought-after speaker and panelist. She officially became a published author in summer 2022, when her first book was released. The Write 2 Heal, an anthology featuring her story, gives readers insight into the struggles she faced early on as she entered the workforce and how she turned those losses into lessons, fueling her to build her own business.

In addition to driving growth in her thriving enterprise, Kamille currently serves as the Vice President of Community Service for the National Federation for the Blind. She’s an esteemed member of several economic empowerment groups including Black Women in Radio, Every.Black, and the Women’s Economic Opportunity Project. Kamille was also recently selected to the 2023 class of Leadership Raleigh and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

In her free time, Kamille enjoys traveling the world and spending time as an “Auntie Extraordinaire” with her new nephew in Atlanta.
