About Elisa:
Elisa Bolduc is Vice President, Corporate Communications, for Disney General Entertainment, and is a seasoned communications executive, leading global communications and public engagement strategies across government, politics, defense, technology, interactive entertainment and media/entertainment industries.
Background & Experience:
As the Vice President of Corporate Communications for Disney General Entertainment, which comprises the company’s television content creation brands (20th Television, ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ABC Signature, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, FX, Hulu Originals, National Geographic, and Onyx Collective), Elisa works closely with the segment’s leadership to develop and implement the strategic communications approach to diversity, equity and inclusion. She also oversees the communications strategy for the segment’s social responsibility impact work and corporate priorities.
Prior to her role at Disney, Elisa served in strategic communications and public engagement roles for leaders and entities at the height of global significance and scrutiny, including former-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Yahoo, and Electronic Arts.
During the 2008 presidential election cycle, Elisa led community engagement strategies for the candidacy of then-Senator Hillary Clinton in nearly 30 primary states to advance campaign policies and platforms through direct audience engagements and visual messaging. She produced public campaign events and oversaw the global media strategy that generated coverage in top-tier local, national and international outlets. Elisa later served as Special Assistant in the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives during the first speakership of Nancy Pelosi, working on external public engagements, coordinating the policy and communications strategy for Congressional and governmental proceedings, and executing ceremonial events.
Following her roles in government and politics, Elisa moved to the corporate sector, where she advanced the public policy communications portfolio for Yahoo, and then led executive communications for the CEO, managing communication strategy. After Yahoo, Elisa served as the global head of executive and internal communications for Electronic Arts, and helped to position the company as a pioneer for technological innovations, including piloting cloud gaming, and deepening consumer insights and engagement through telemetry.
Education & Training:
Elisa earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MA in Global Security Studies from the Johns Hopkins University, where she studied and wrote extensively about the democratization and acceleration of information flow, and its impact on organized societies.
