Carrie Jones-Barber is the Chief Executive Officer at Dawn Foods, a global leader in bakery manufacturing and ingredients distribution. As CEO, Carrie has helped build Dawn into a multibillion-dollar company that remains rooted in its values and puts people and customers at the center of its strategy. Throughout her time at Dawn, Carrie has held roles in sales, information technology, strategy and international executive leadership. Prior to joining Dawn, Carrie worked in sales in the medical device industry.
A graduate of Western Michigan University (BA) and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (MBA), Carrie serves on multiple business and charitable boards, including the Business Advisory Council for the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan, and the Board of Directors for Land O’ Frost. She is a member of the American Bakers Association, the Society of Bakery Women, and C200, a global organization focused on making a profound impact on the advancement of women in business. Carrie also serves on the President’s Leadership Council for Search for Common Ground.
Carrie received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Western Michigan University in 2018 and is a regular speaker at industry and university events to help inspire the next generation of leaders and bakery professionals. Carrie was named a 2021 Women Leadership in the Workplace honoree by MichBusiness and selected as a 2021 Powered by Women award recipient by DBusiness Magazine.
