Linkage Affiliate Consultant, Executive Coach, Women in Leadership Learning Team Leader, Inclusion Product Advisory Board Member, Moderator: Women, Race & Advancement
Bev Wright is a client-focused award-winning business and leadership coach, workshop leader, diversity & inclusion consultant, keynote speaker and community servant, and a member of Linkage’s Inclusion Product Advisory Board, which brings together expert leadership consultants in the inclusion space to serve as a critical resource in the development of Linkage’s Creating Cultures of Inclusion solution and inclusion product offerings. Bev leverages over 30 years of experience with IBM in business administration, sales and sales management, marketing and operations to support her current clients in achieving success professionally and personally. In the words of one of her longtime clients, “She teaches fishing, makes it fun and productive rather than just providing answers.” Her approach to coaching is to understand what her clients want to achieve. She becomes their accountability partner using her skills and experiences to support them in achieving their goals.
Background & Experience:
Bev has coached in multiple industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, entertainment, education, food service, government (missile defense, civil rights, law firms), construction, transportation and insurance. The common denominator across her clients and industries is a focus on leadership effectiveness. She believes that people-centered leaders can harness the ROP (return on people) to increase ROI (return on investment) for the company to achieve challenging objectives. Her experience leading diverse teams and her clients’ results support this long-standing belief. She is a mentor and coach for entry-level to C-suite leaders and entrepreneurs, and she has developed a reputation for turning around underperforming teams and departments and creating new businesses from startup to steady state.
In addition to her coaching and consulting with clients, Bev creates and facilitates leadership development workshops and is a sought-after keynote speaker. She was asked to develop and deliver a class on Inclusive Leadership as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University. Since 2002, she has been the board chair for Dallas Dinner Table, an independent nonprofit that focuses on multicultural dialogue to enhance race relations. While at IBM, she and her team created an award-winning internal coaching business that positively changed the culture in her sales division, which spanned three locations (Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Toronto, Canada).

Bev is an International Coach Federation (ICF)-credentialed coach who has earned the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
