What’s in store for the 2012 Women in Leadership Institute?

We just announced our keynote speakers for the 2012 Women in Leadership Institute, our world-class immersion learning experience committed to advancing the succession and development of emerging female leaders.

Dr. Brené Brown and Jamil Mahuad are returning this year to address influencing with impact and conflict resolution respectively.

Dr. Brené Brown is a professor and vulnerability researcher at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. Since vulnerability is at the center of many thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, her research topics cover a broad range of emotions and experiences, including shame, courage, and authenticity.

Jamil Mahuad is former President of Ecuador and a contributing author of Beyond Reason: Using Emotions as You Negotiate. As President of Ecuador, Mr. Mahuad ended the longeststanding international military conflict in the Western Hemisphere and signed a definitive Peace Treaty with neighboring country Peru.
