Linkage is in the business of helping organizations advance women in leadership roles to drive business results. We help women “skill up” and be ready.
The reality is, we want to be able to do it all. We don’t delegate as much as we should. We’re not negotiating on our own behalf as skillfully as we could. And we’re still more ambivalent about what we want than we really should be. The Women in Leadership Institute™ is a great opportunity for us to figure all of that out.
I was recently asked what advice I would give to women seeking leadership roles. First, get clear on what you’d like to do—what really jazzes you—and what you’re good at. You need to know your strengths and, if you don’t, ask the people around you. It’s okay to ask for help. Networking is critical and you should seek out mentors. Also, be conscious of what your brand is. Step into your own power—so often we women shrink so that others don’t feel small around us.
We want the Women in Leadership Institute™ to be an experience that helps you do all of this, no matter what stage of the journey you are at. I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
