The Shame Game

Brené Brown, Ph.D., LMSW, is a research professor at the University of Houston, Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent more than a decade studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. Her work has been featured on/in PBS, NPR, CNN, The Washington Post, Psychology Today, and TED. This year, Linkage welcomes Brené as a faculty member of its Global Institute for Leadership Development (October 14-19, 2012) and Women in Leadership Institute (November 7-9, 2012). In this TED talk, Brené discusses what can happen when people confront their shame head-on.
