Stepping out of your argument style

August 31, 2012

Our unconscious bias can often dictate our perceptions and how we manage our relationships, making it difficult for us to know what we are really upset by. Howard Ross, founder & Chief Learning Officer of Cook Ross Inc. recently partnered with us to present a webinar on Why Are We Arguing? How the Unconscious Mind Feeds Conflict in Our Lives.

During the session, he shared insights on human behavior and the importance of recognizing that different styles will cause different reactions for different people. Some people are fine “slugging it out” while others may find the slightest rise in energy as frightening. Getting feedback is the best way to get conscious of how you are occurring to that person.
