Frances Hesselbein was recruited by Peter Drucker in 1990 to run his Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management which was recently renamed the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute. As acting CEO, Hesselbein overseas the institute’s mission in “three primary goal areas: developing leaders of character and competence; providing dynamic global mentorship, training and service opportunities; and engaging, informing and enhancing the leadership journey of incoming generations of leaders”.
