Noel Tichy on Leader as Teacher

March 15, 2012

Developing managers into leaders at all levels is the key to sustained success of any organization. The winning organizations possess a “virtuous teaching cycle” where everyone teaches and everyone learns in order to provide the ideas, energy, and edge needed to make the right decisions.

The clip below showcases Noel Tichy’s broadcast, which aired as a part of our Thought Leader Series. In this session, Noel draws upon 25 years of research and real world application of leadership development at organizations such as GE, Ford, Shell, and Cisco. In his book, The Cycle of Leadership, Tichy shares the building blocks necessary to help leaders become teachers and organizations become teaching organizations.
