Leading the Youth with Insights to Leadership

May 2, 2012

C5 Georgia, metro Atlanta’s unique, intensive five-year leadership and college-readiness program for students, in cooperation with Linkage, are proud to announce a mid-day meal unlike any other—one with the potential to open minds, create dialogues, and change both lives and business for the better.

On May 2, 2012, nine C5 Georgia students participated in a “Leadership Lunch” during Linkage’s Institute for Leading Diversity & Inclusion at Atlanta’s InterContinental, Buckhead. The students selected to participate had the opportunity to spend time with the Chief Diversity Officers in attendance from some of the nation’s most forward-thinking organizations. They also had the opportunity to attend Geoffrey Canada’s keynote address and received free laptops.

“Linkage’s Institute for Leading Diversity & Inclusion supports the long-time mission of creating inclusive work environments that foster the success and development of every individual,” writes Institute Co-Directors Robin Pedrelli and Karina Wilhelms. “While our focus is on business, we understand that access and equality for many individuals is an issue long before ever reaching the workplace. C5 supports our mission by providing access and equality to students who would otherwise not have such an opportunity.”
