5 Reasons to Get Excited for #LinkageWIL

October 26, 2018 Jennifer McCollum

Soon, we will welcome 900 leaders to Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute in Phoenix, AZ. There is a lot to get excited about.

I am thrilled to announce that we’re completely sold out. We’ll be hosting our largest cohort of women leaders ever in the Institute’s 20 year history.

From our incredible keynote faculty—to networking experiences, targeted competency sessions, and the opportunity for our participants to focus 100% on themselves, I’ve narrowed it down to five reasons to get excited.

Be sure to share why you’re excited to join us by leaving a comment below or by using #LinkageWIL on social media.

Learn from incredible faculty

At #LinkageWIL, you will learn from faculty who are dynamic, inspiring, funny, thoughtful–and above all, focused on your advancement as a women leader. Susan MacKenty Brady, Institute Co-Chair and EVP of Linkage Solutions, will walk us through the seven hurdles women face in the workplace, including the Inner Critic, ahead of the release of her new book in November. Carla Harris, Institute Co-chair and Vice Chairman, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, will share insight and words of wisdom from her three decades of working on Wall Street. Get ready to take notes and live tweet–you’re not going to want to forget a moment of what you hear.

Put health and wellness first

Back by popular demand, attendees will experience a health and wellness track, complete with meditation, guided mindfulness, and visualization exercises. Research shows that women prioritize the well-being of others over themselves, which makes this track vital as a learning experience. You will walk away with an awareness of how integrative health and wellness (mind-body-spirit) philosophy can improve your performance, engagement, and purpose at work.

Network with purpose

We understand the importance of purposeful networking, especially when it comes to empowering the advancement of women leaders–which is why we scheduled networking opportunities at #LinkageWIL. You will have the opportunity to network with 900+ women leaders from Fortune 1000 companies, non-profits and global government agencies. Your fellow attendees have a myriad of personal and professional experiences that you can learn from–and we know you have your own stories of impact that will be valuable to your peers as well.

Focus 100% on Yourself

It’s time to leave behind your day-to-day tasks… The conference calls, to-do lists and PTA meetings–to focus 100% on you and your personal goals and aspirations. You’re driven, and we know that on Day 1 of #LinkageWIL, you’ll find it hard to unplug from your day-to-day, but once you do, you will be immersed in a truly rewarding experience.

Take Advantage of a Truly Transformational Experience

In many cases, #LinkageWIL attendees walk away from this experience with a new outlook on life–and a renewed sense of purpose. Armed with insight, stories, and renewed inspiration, you’ll go forward with the tools you need to take the next step in your career.
