Free Webinar | Experience Linkage’s Advancing Women Leaders Virtual Sessions

March 23, 2020 Rachael Marangu

As we face the ongoing coronavirus public health crisis, women are working harder than ever to prove their value.

Many women leaders are working extended hours to meet business challenges, while also balancing the responsibilities of maintaining their home, and in some cases teaching their children. On a normal day, our instinct is to do it all. At work, we offer to spearhead every initiative, take on active implementation, or manage day-to-day processes. At home, we’re focused on providing for everyone’s needs, often putting ourselves last. Some of this work may be required of us (and we may enjoy much of it!), but this work may also be bogging us down, limiting our ability to lift up and realize our full potential as leaders, both at work and in our communities.

How can women show they are committed, smart workers if they don’t take it all on? How can they prove their value without burning themselves out?

These questions are critical to the advancement of women leaders. In fact, Linkage’s Advancing Women Leaders 360° Assessment, which has been used by thousands of women at hundreds of organizations worldwide, identifies “Proving Your Value” as the #1 hurdle faced by women looking to advance in the workplace.

In this time of crisis and uncertainty, as we all take on more and more to compensate for changing needs within our homes and our organizations, these questions become increasingly vital to our ability to realize and maximize our potential.

Linkage has identified the competencies and skill set required for women to scale this hurdle to advancement, and we have designed leadership development programming to meet this need. Linkage’s Advancing Women Leaders Virtual Sessions is an innovative 4- or 8-module virtual learning experience designed to empower women leaders to recognize the hurdles that impede their advancement in the workplace—and help them identify tools and best practices to overcome these barriers.
