Linkage and McKesson teamed up to present a case study at the CLO Symposium in Miami Beach in April. Presenters Rich Rosier (SVP, Linkage) and Andrew Wilhelms (Manager, Leadership Development, McKesson) shared details about the successful rollout and implementation of the Leaders Teaching Leaders Process (LTLP) at McKesson. For each of the past five years, LTLP has accelerated, focused, and supported a select group of high-potential directors and VP’s efforts to become superior business leaders. The results have been outstanding.
In the video presentation below, learn about our successes and our failures associated with:
- Participant selection — How do you determine who has the “potential” to be effective with a much greater scope of leadership responsibility?
- Process design — How do you ensure real development occurs? What makes this process so much different/better?
- Process components — What components are built into the process to make it work? How much does it cost? What is the ROI?
- Process support — What is the role of the leadership development/talent management practitioner to implement this process? Is it labor intensive?
