Academy Award-winner Geena Davis will co-chair our Women in Leadership Institute

August 13, 2015

Geena Davis was inspired to become an advocate for women and girls after noticing a huge imbalance in the ratio of male to female characters while watching television with her young daughter.

And as the founder of The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and the co-chair and a keynote speaker at our Women in Leadership Institute (yes, she’s also an Academy Award®-winning actress who’s starred in such movie classics as Thelma & Louise and Beetlejuice, and recently appeared in Grey’s Anatomy), she’s doing something about it.

As you can see in this short video clip, Geena has first-hand knowledge of the impact our Women in Leadership Institute can make on the lives and careers of women.

Join her and 600 leaders from leading organizations around the world at this year’s event in Phoenix, Arizona, from November 2-5.
