Promotion rates in the US tell a stark story: For every 100 men promoted, only 85 women are promoted, and for some its even worseonly 58 black women for every 100 men. Now is the time for all employees to support a culture of inclusion as true allies in the workplace.

Keynote:

Reflecting on Allyship – How to Drive Meaningful Change

The conversations of the past have done little to impact systemic inequalities and institutionalized racism. Now is the time for real conversations that drive transformative change.

How can we courageously move beyond the past to create real change at our organizations and in our communities?

During this interactive keynote presentation, we will continue a critical conversation on privilege and race—and uncover actionable next steps for being a better ally. Allyship is about lifting and supporting other people, actively and intentionally, especially those who have historically been underrepresented or marginalized in the past. Allyship has become a significant buzzword in recent years as a result of the focus on women and race, but it’s important for people to really understand how to best put allyship into action to drive meaningful change for all populations in the organization.

In this session, you will:

  • Build your awareness on what effective allyship looks like, through examples and stories
  • Learn a practical, actionable framework to evolve your ability to be an effective ally
  • Commit to an actionable next step forward as an ally

What’s Included:

  • 1-hour keynote, virtual or in person at your organization
  • Facilitated by inclusion expert: Linkage CEO, Jennifer McCollum or Eddie Turner, Principal Consultant
