Linkage Announces a New Signature Solution | Redesigning Inclusion: Superpowers & Symphony
BOSTON, Mass: Linkage, Inc., a global leadership development firm committed to advancing women and accelerating inclusion in leaders and organizations, has launched a transformative, research-backed solution focused on redesigning inclusion in the workplace.
“Superpowers & Symphony” is the next chapter of “Diversity & Inclusion,” and an invitation to belong that recognizes and cultivates everyone’s uniqueness as “Superpowers”—thereby unlocking “Symphony,” our greatest resource to achieve true inclusion in the workplace.
Linkage’s Superpowers & Symphony solution combines individual and organizational assessments, and development training to impact all levels of the organization, from the workforce to the C-suite, and is presented in partnership with architect and futurist Oshoke Abalu, who has been credited by TIME magazine with “breaking down walls” for rejuvenating and transforming global work cultures through her delivery of human-centered spaces.
“Despite spending $8 billion on diversity and inclusion initiatives in the US each year, 44% of employees agree that their executive team prioritizes inclusion and only 8% believe that their organization is effective at it,” said Jennifer McCollum, CEO of Linkage. “We know what we’re doing today isn’t working well enough, so Linkage set out to discover and create a new inclusion story, with practical keys to unlock and sustain inclusion.”
Abalu first introduced the concept in a 2019 Fast Company thought piece, and the partnership with Linkage allows leading organizations to access a new framework, language, and the resources needed to scale the solution at every level.
“Linkage has a long history of accelerating the advancement of women and other unseen groups in the workplace,” said Abalu. “Together, our vision for Superpowers & Symphony will drive transformative change—empowering organizations to realize the benefits and better business outcomes that come from inclusion, redesigned.”
As part of the launch, Linkage announced a new product offering:
- Redesigning Inclusion: Workforce Essentials is a self-paced, digital learning program designed to equip your employees with key tools, a better understanding and a new language around inclusion.
