BOSTON, Mass: Linkage, a leading provider of strategic leadership development solutions, has announced that Glennon Doyle, New York Times best-selling author, activist and founder of Together Rising, will join them at the Women in Leadership Institute™ (WIL) November 9–12, 2020.

Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute is a four-day immersive learning experience, designed to inspire and equip women leaders with actionable strategies to overcome the hurdles women often face in the workplace.

For the first time ever, the Institute is available virtually, in addition to its traditional face-to-face experience, taking place November 9–12, 2020, in Dallas, TX. Glennon will serve as keynote speaker and faculty member for both the in-person and virtual experience.

“Glennon is an incredible leader—her writing is poignant, her story compelling, and her insights on living and leading in a complex and changing world could not be more relevant to right now,” said Jennifer McCollum, CEO of Linkage.

Glennon Doyle is the author of Untamed, as well as the #1 New York Times best seller Love Warrior (an Oprah’s Book Club selection), and the New York Times best seller Carry On, Warrior. An activist and thought leader, Glennon was named among SuperSoul 100’s inaugural group of “awakened leaders who are using their voices and talent to elevate humanity.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Glennon to the mainstage at this year’s Institute,” said Katharine Panessidi, director of the Women in Leadership Institute. “She is a wonderful addition to a dynamic and diverse lineup of exceptional speakers, including Soledad O’Brien, Carla Harris, and Molly Fletcher.”

Glennon is the founder and president of Together Rising, an all-women-led nonprofit organization that has revolutionized grassroots philanthropy—raising over $20 million for women, families and children in crisis.

Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute is grounded in Linkage’s Advancing Women Leaders model, which outlines the key competencies women leaders need to be successful in their organizations.

“Glennon embodies Linkage’s Advancing Women Leaders ‘Clear’ competency,” said Panessidi. “Glennon motivates women leaders to build trust and cohesion on their teams by embracing courage, boldness and purpose in their life’s work.”
