BOSTON, Mass:
The WIL “Legends in Leadership” faculty honor is awarded to a trailblazing and innovative leadership strategist who has demonstrated a consistent pattern of living out the five commitments of Purposeful Leadership and concentrates current efforts on helping other leaders confidently step into their leadership potential, with a focus on allyship and inclusion.
“We are thrilled to announce that Carla Harris will serve as the ‘Legends in Leadership’ faculty member for our Women in Leadership Institute,” said Kristen Howe, Linkage’s Chief Product Officer. “Carla is an incredibly inspiring and trailblazing leader who joins a growing legacy of honored leadership legends who dedicate their lives to leading effectively and with purpose, while also leading inclusively.”
“Carla is a role model for us all,” said Howe. “Her ascent to the highest levels of leadership and influence within the financial industry is inspiring—but she is also a servant leader, dedicating her career with purpose and unlocking potential in those she impacts.”
Past recipients of the Legends in Leadership Award include Alan Mulally, former president and chief executive officer of the Ford Motor Company, and Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, a visionary leadership thought leader.
As this year’s “Legends in Leadership” faculty member, Harris will share her journey—how she became the purpose-driven leader she is today, as well as valuable advice from the main stage, as part of a comprehensive, four-day leadership development learning experience for high-potential women leaders.
