The Linkage Leadership Roles Card Deck is a fast, accurate, and easy to use tool designed to help organizations identify the critical leadership competencies that will drive results in their organizations. Using the Card Deck is a simple process:
- Determine the target for the 'sort' (i.e., strategy, business partner/customer requirements, or challenges of a specific role).
- Read through the cards
- Choose the cards that you feel are relevant to that target.
To assist you in your modeling efforts, the Linkage Leadership Roles Card Deck has been divided into four primary leadership roles. The card deck includes 65 key leadership competencies that describe how leaders at all levels work with others to achieve results. These four primary leadership roles are:
Strategist: The role of deisgning the direction, culture, future and architecture of the team, unit, or the organizatio
Process Leader: The role of creating context for the organization and making sure that the processes, technologies, and systems bring the strategies to life
Coach/Enabler: The role of supporting people to ensure that the designs are executed
Expert/Individual Contributor: The role of doing the direct work, using a particular expertise
