This Guidebook is a vehicle for passing on both the principles and methodologies that work best in teams. It is a compilation of guidelines and best practices. Do not treat this as a textbook, for it is not meant to be one. Rather, it is a guide that has been assembled to give you thoughts, ideas, tips and step-by-step techniques. We have meant it to be eminently practical, and hope we have achieved that goal.

Each team is different. Their differences derive from who they are, the nature of the work they perform, and the organizations in which they are based. Most especially, they are different because of the wonderful uniqueness and differences of the people.
