Leadership-Level Facilitation: Facilitating Greater Focus During Meetings

Often meetings are difficult and a seemingly unproductive use of time. And yet, meetings are critical to our organizations. Much of the work we do together, as members of a work group, a task force or the senior leadership team depends for its success on successful meetings. That success can hinge on effective facilitation.

In this program, you will build your confidence and competence as a meeting facilitator. You will learn tools and concepts to prepare for and conduct successful meetings both as a "neutral" facilitator and as a team leader. You will learn how to plan and conduct day-to-day business meetings, off-sites such as strategic planning sessions, and examine some of the unique challenges of facilitating executive-level meetings. The frameworks and concepts will give you the courage to say "yes" to requests to serve as a facilitator to more senior groups.
