Learning how to lead and manage change is the most pressing leadership challenge facing organizations today. Most organizations see change compelled by crisis as a threat, not an opportunity. In times of great change, managers are expected to provide a visible anchor for others and successful change readers are those who adapt quickly and can ignite passion, conviction, and confidence in others. Too often a plan is announced, a task force is launched, and then we simply hope that people find the answers, instead of offering a dream, stretching their horizons, and encouraging people to do the same.
Participants in this program will learn:
- Why kaleidoscopic thinking is critical to effectively managing change
- Techniques and tips for leading change and the critical skills needed to be a successful change agent
- The importance of building coalitions and inspiring confidence
