In his 20 years as CEO, he transformed the company from a bureaucratic behemoth to a dynamic and revered powerhouse. In the process, Welch's management innovations have made him the most influential CEO of his era. In 2000, he was named Manager of the Century by Fortune magazine. Mr. Welch is currently the head of Jack Welch, LLC, where he serves as an advisor to a small group of Fortune 500 CEOs and speaks to businesspeople and students around the world. He is the author of Jack: Straight from the Gut and the WSJ and New York Times bestseller, Winning, co-authored with his wife Suzy.
Suzy Welch is the former editor of the Harvard Business Review. She attended Harvard University and Harvard Business School, and is the author of numerous articles about leadership, creativity, change and organizational behavior, and a contributor to several books about management.
