Marshall Goldsmith on Coaching for Leadership

This is truly a unique opportunity to learn coaching techniques and tools from one of the world's most experienced and respected executive coaches. In this fast-paced, interactive session, Marshall Goldsmith will explain why it can be so challenging for successful people - especially successful executives - to change. Marshall will outline a proven 8-step process for behavioral coaching that focuses on establishing objectives, identifying and working with key stakeholders, and formulating a plan for behavioral change.

In addition, Marshall Goldsmith will teach managers and leaders how to coach for behavioral change and to achieve both short and long term results through more effective coaching techniques. Lastly, he will teach you the importance of feedback by providing tips on giving and receiving feedback effectively.

Marshall Goldsmith is a world authority in helping successful leaders get even better. He is University Professor at Alliant International University's Marshall Goldsmith School of Management, which was named in his honor in 2006. BusinessWeek recognized Marshall as one of 50 great leaders in the United States. Dr. Goldsmith's twenty-two books include: The Leader of the Future (a BusinessWeek best-seller) and Coaching for Leadership. His most recent book is entitled, What Got You Here Won't Get You There. He served as a member of the Board of the Peter Drucker Foundation for ten years and now serves as a member of the Leader to Leader Board.

This program will feature 60 minutes of presentation followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers.
