Jeff Taylor is the founder of Monster.com, the first, and only, globally recognized brand for careers that changed the face of employment and the Internet forever. A visionary entrepreneur, Mr. Taylor again harnessed the power of the Internet by launching Eons.com, an innovative media company challenging a generation of boomers and seniors to live the fullest life possible. As an expert in technology, advertising, and human capital, Mr. Taylor zeroes in on what lies ahead. Sensing economic upheaval, changing global employment, and the shift from commerce to people, networking, and consumers that Web 2.0 has created, Mr. Taylor advises businesses on how they can break away from the competition by adopting a new mindset and getting in early with social networking.

Mr. Taylor will address the topic of recruiting & retention: the future of human capital. He will discuss how to conceptualize a vision, strategically brand it as your own, create a thriving network, and break away from the competition to achieve your goal and possibly change the face of the business and enterprise along the way.

In many current talent management programs the steps to identify and pass along mission-critical social contacts have been lacking. "Who you know" is important in getting business results in many fields, notably in sales and marketing but also in more technical fields such as engineering and IT. Learn what "social network succession planning" is, what best-practices currently exist, and what model can guide its implementation.

Ted Childs is the former vice president of Global Workforce Diversity at IBM and the founder of Ted Childs, LLC.
Mr. Childs understands the war for talent in an increasingly competitive global marketplace. His success with IBM has been attributed to looking beyond the internal factors of the organization to the diverse external entities that affect a company's success such as customers, advertisers, suppliers, the applicant pool, and community at large. In order for an organization to achieve its highest potential, it must pay close attention to changing global demographics and emerging issues, and embrace them as opportunities for growth.

In his captivating keynote address, Mr. Childs will discuss trends in the global economy and the future of available talent in the global workforce. With almost 40 years of success in corporate America, Childs gets straight to the bottom line and proves that a healthy global diversity policy and talent management approach are essential to achieving the ultimate competitive advantage.
