in sales and marketing but also in more technical fields such as engineering
and IT. Learn what "social network succession planning" is, what best-practices

Ted Childs is the former vice president of Global Workforce
Diversity at IBM and the founder of Ted Childs, LLC.
Mr. Childs understands the war for talent in an increasingly competitive global
marketplace. His success with IBM has been attributed to looking beyond the
internal factors of the organization to the diverse external entities that
affect a company's success such as customers, advertisers, suppliers, the
applicant pool, and community at large. In order for an organization to achieve
its highest potential, it must pay close attention to changing global
demographics and emerging issues, and embrace them as opportunities for growth.
In his captivating keynote address, Mr. Childs will discuss trends in the
global economy and the future of available talent in the global workforce. With
almost 40 years of success in corporate America, Childs gets straight to the
bottom line and proves that a healthy global diversity policy and talent
management approach are essential to achieving the ultimate competitive
advantage.
