Best-Practice Case Studies
Linkage's 2005 HR MedCon & Expo will provide access to a variety of best practice organizations that have received the highest honors from respected industry publications and organizations. Executives from these award-winning companies will present their best practices and engage audiences of executive-level peers in active exploration of their best strategies and execution methods. Delegates will come away from each session with applicable tools and relevant benchmarks that they can use to implement practical solutions to their business imperatives.
This year's Best Practice Case Studies, including those from Award Winning Organizations, will include:
Learning Teams
Each participant in the HR MedCon & Expo will select a Learning Team to participate in as part of their core learning process throughout the HR MedCon & Expo. Learning Teams are peer groups of leaders who come together to explore common responsibilities, interests, and organizational challenges and to collaboratively drive innovative solutions to their top priority human resources challenges. The Learning Teams will join together at Linkage's HR MedCon & Expo for multiple sessions led by an expert thought leader in that specific subject area. You will meet three times throughout the Conference with your Learning Teams. The first session is designed to allow peer executives share challenges and goals associated with the organizational transformation that you have each come to the HR MedCon & Expo to learn more about. The second session will be a blueprinting session, in which you consider the various leadership lessons and best practice strategies that you have learned during sessions at the Summit and use them to think critically about your current state, your desired future state, and what you need to accomplish to get there. The final Learning Team session will be designed to provide you with a forum to develop and share your proposed solution with peer practitioners and the expert thought leader who is leading your Learning Team session, consider potential challenges along the way, and walk away with action plan to bring back to your organization.
How are the Learning Teams Organized? Learning Teams will be organized according to the key imperatives of senior executives in the following functional areas:
- Corporate Human Resources
- Recruiting & Retention
- Learning, Training, & Development
- Compensation & Benefits
- Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Change
- Employee & Labor Relations
- Diversity
- HRIS
