An Accelerated Development Framework
► Experience through action learning
Each organizational team, or cohort, will select internal strategic opportunities or challenges to work on for the duration of the process. The teams, guided by an experienced Linkage coach, will have the opportunity to practice what they are learning while adding measurable value to the organization through the business solutions that they create and implement.
► Exposure through leadership coaching
Our coaches lead each participant through a series of eight, one-hour private virtual coaching sessions that leverage insights from their assessment data, along with a series of coaching tools (including an Individual Development Plan) to ensure real-time learning and growth. A formal mentoring program is also optional through LEAP.
► Education through best-in-class learning programs
Each participant will attend six, one-day programs focused on topics that are determined based on the collective assessment of the cohort’s leadership strengths and development opportunities.
Participants will also attend Linkage’s Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD) on October 22–27, 2017, in Palm Desert, CA. This competency-based, immersion learning experience is truly transformational and is a critical educational component of the overall LEAP plan. GILD has been rated the #1 Leadership Development Program in the world.
Leadership Competency Model: The High Impact Leadership Model™
The Linkage High Impact Leadership Model is the result of a longitudinal competency study launched in 1996 by Warren Bennis and Linkage. It identifies the universal leadership competencies, skills and responsibilities that differentiate outstanding leaders, and provides insights to produce better results in the workplace. Linkage uses this model to define a comprehensive plan that may integrate some or all of Linkage's areas of expertise: executive coaching, developing cultures of innovation and inclusion, advancing women leaders, creating change-enabled organizations and the development of effective teams; to help you create lasting leadership impact for your organization.
360° Leadership Assessment: The Leadership Assessment Instrument™ (LAI)
The Linkage LAI, which can be administered as a self-survey or a 360° survey (one that incorporates both self and other responses), assesses leadership strengths and development areas associated with the competencies and skills of the High Impact Leadership Model. The results help participants gain insight and awareness into their leadership strengths and development areas. View sample report.
