SUSAN MITCHELL BRIDGES has provided leadership consulting and executive development services to individuals, teams and organizations for over twenty years. She partners with executives, professionals and entrepreneurs as they deal with major business and professional changes.
Susan is a Partner/Owner of William Bridges and Associates where she heads up the firm’s Consulting Services. Before starting her previous firm, Mitchell Consulting Group, she held senior management positions with several international consulting firms. There she provided leadership and guidance through start-up, turnaround and growth periods. She is experienced in strategic planning, operations, public relations, project design, business development and management of professional services. Her clients have included a broad range of industries in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
At WBA, Susan consults with executives who must lead change and transition in their organizations, and who want to implement organizational strategy successfully. She does this by identifying and building on her clients’ existing strengths and skills to develop new behaviors for greater effectiveness.
Susan co-authored the article Leading Transition: A New Model for Change which was published in On Leading Change, edited by The Drucker Foundation. She has also served as a Drucker Foundation Mentor. As Chair of the Mentoring Committee of the Institute of Management Consultants, she piloted a national program to mentor and provide professional development for management consultants.
Susan holds a BA degree in Speech and an MA in Communications from the University of Colorado. She is actively involved in community organizations, serving currently on the Board of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and previously on the Boards of the March of Dimes and Family Service Agency of Marin, CA.
