Linkage Training announces the 2006-2007 Thought Leadership Application Labs' first program: Best Practices in Succession Management: Sustainable Talent Management Practices that Drive Business Results

BURLINGTON, MASS. (September 1, 2006) - Linkage, Inc. announces the new 2006-2007 Thought Leadership Application Labs. The first program, Best Practices in Succession Management: Sustainable Talent Management Practices that Drive Business Results, will feature William Rothwell, succession expert and editor of the Linkage's Best Practices in Succession Management book, Andrew Goodman, Linkage EVP of Talent Management, and Phil Harkins, CEO and founder of Linkage.

This program focuses on how to avoid the upheavals caused by critical vacancies in key positions, and compares best-practice succession management case studies to participants' business plans. The program will uncover key trends from Linkage's research and upcoming publications that are influencing the future of succession management and planning. It will explore how to get the right leaders at the top of your organization, how to retain talent as a competitive advantage, and how to implement the correct succession plan for your organization to achieve breakthrough success.

Rothwell, Ph.D., recognized globally as an expert on management and succession planning, he served as the National Thought Leader for a 2001 Best Practices study of succession that examined 18 multinational corporations.
