Sidewalk Artist's Work Celebrates
Women in Leadership on
American Business Women’s Day

Famous artist “Sidewalk Sam” paints famous “Rosie the Riveter” image in Boston’s Post Office Square to highlight upcoming Women in Leadership Summit.

Linkage, Inc., a global organizational development company that specializes in leadership development, hosted popular artist Robert Guillemin (AKA: Sidewalk Sam) on September 22 in Post Office Square to promote its upcoming Women in Leadership Summit. The November 15-17 Summit is featuring insights, advice and inspiration from leaders such as Cokie Roberts, Cicely Tyson and Erin Brockovich Ellis.

Dubbed the “Pavement Picasso,” Sidewalk Sam will paint “Rosie the Riveter” —the image that captured the movement of women into the American workforce during World War II. The image will remain on the sidewalks of Post Office Square for one month, allowing it to be seen by thousands of men and women in Boston’s financial district.
