Marcus is a Vice President with Linkage, Inc. with
significant practical experience in helping client organizations achieve
results through improved processes, systems and performance while managing
change in a turbulent environment. He has also worked extensively in the areas
of change management and quality management systems. Marcus has over fifteen
years of experience as Statistical Consultant and Organizational Design and
Development Professional.
Prior to joining Linkage, Marcus was Director of
Organizational Development Services for Ameritech and Southwest Bell Telephone.
Marcus helped lead the transformation of Ameritech Publishing's human resources
department from a traditional, functionally aligned organization to a
successful Human Resource Business Partner model. As an Internal Consultant,
Marcus led a variety of large-scale change efforts and several company-wide
re-organizations. It was in this capacity that he led the team which
successfully integrated PAC Bell, Southwest Bell and Ameritech's Yellow Pages
division Human Resource departments into a single entity. Before joining
Ameritech Marcus worked as an independent Statistical Consultant for a variety
of Fortune 500 companies including Ameritech, IBM, John Deere and Proctor &
Gamble. He has managed numerous large-scale research projects including
international employee opinion surveys, selection test design and validation,
customer loyalty and market opinion research studies. Marcus has a Masters
degree in Industrial Psychology and completed all but a dissertation towards
his Ph.D. Marcus has distinguished himself as a Researcher and Statistician
while a part-time professor at Wayne State University.
Marcus Marcero has helped companies such as Harley Davidson
Motorcycle Company, Cummins Engine, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, implement
large-scale change programs resulting from implementation of a new Quality
Management System, Re-organization, M&A activities respectively.
Marcus also has extensive experience in designing and
implementing Leadership Development Programs for companies including Ameritech,
Cooper Tire and Rubber, and Temple Inland.
Other clients include: Honda Motor Company, Kraft Foods,
Kellogg Foundation, and Progressive Insurance.
